This is a pulley. I chose to make this because it seemed like a thing you would need in real life. The pulley works by twisting the wooden stick which then pulls the string up. This was made of cardboard, string, hot glue and wooden sticks.

1. The final product is able to leverage the weight and make the string go up, along with the bucket.

1. A well is a good example of a pulley because you use it to get water from the bottom of a hole
2. Most pulley can be found at construction sites when they need to lift things.
